This Days Work:

This year the Roman Catholic Church is having it's "Year of Faith".  I thought I'd start a blog to see what other people thought about faith: your's personnaly, in general or how it affects you.

Faith:  Never confuse 'faith' with 'religion'.  One is what we believe; the other is how we express it. Faith touches on our most basic values, these values in turn, affect our decisions.  It is so pervasive in our lives that we almost can't see it.  Rather like air, you don't notice it until you really need it.  Faith affects everything from when we get up and what we wear, to whether or not this is the place and time to put our lives on the line.

I'm not sure where this is going to go (I don't even know if anyone will read it) but I thought to promote a civil discussion on this subject.  If you think this isn't relvent to current events, one only has to look at the Middle East or the most recent election.

You don't have to agree with each other, each opinion is valid (by definition), and we must respect the other idio... person's right to be wrong. Keep it civil, justify your statements and be ready to have them challenged.
